Yea!! I'm back to Singapore again after de 5 days obs camp! Gonna blog a long 1 today...too many things to write about...=)
= First day =
First day of de obs camp is already a great starting..I was put into a fabulous
watch name
"Amundsen" . Tis
watch consist of 16 ppl from 3 diff classes..They are rebecca huimin jiayi peishan huiqi ain hanis suhaila shyefen weiling kianhao weekhiat jackson zul n a malay gal...forgotten her name..hehe... N we had an excllent instructor too... Shuxian... Our grp was one of de most united n happening grp...
First day, we went to play some trusting game..It is when one person haf to fall from some height n de others need to catch at de bottom..tis game reali need us to haf trust on de ppl holding on to u...Every1 in our
watch did it..It shows how much trust we haf in each other..=)
After tat..we went to learnt belaying...our
watch was de first grp to finish n we still left wif plenty of time...So..shuxian brought us to de
beach for a swim!!! We played de jetty jump... It is when we stand on de jetty n jump down into de water..We need to shout smth before shouting into de water..Guess wat i shouted?? De first time i shouted " I very scared " Then dere i went jumping into de water deep deep down n float up
again .. 2nd time i shouted "gb rox"...yea!!! Although it looks scary for most of us...but eventually every1 tried...even more than once...It was reali a great experience..Most of us
felt as if we were jumping off a building..haha...
Dere were still some other activities later in de nite...De dinner we ate was....erm...disgusting?? I duno..but i onli noe tat tis 5 days we did not reali had proper meals.. mostly biscuts for lunch n breakfast...sob sob...
= 2nd day =
Went
kayaking on de 2nd day.. Tis
kayaking experience i'm not goin to forget for de rest of my life... As usual...we were always on time n dere were still lots of time...shuxian brought us to some special places to kayak...It was reali long a distance.. Kayak till half way... De
weather started to change...We were conquering de huge waves, lightning, thunder n heavy rain.. We did not stop
kayaking but continued kayak till we reach our destination...n something happened during
kayaking tat bonded us even more..
After
kayaking..we went to climb de inverse tower...Haiz..smth to do wif height again..i still did nt manage to get to de top..Anyway..my partner peishan managed reached de top!! 3 cheers to her!! And oso...we saw a beautiful rainbow!!
After tat... we went for dinner n had some reali nice
games for our
watch... De
games reali entertained us alot alot...We were enjoying n laughing all de way... Anyway..I'm de
rabbit..haha...I think onli our
watch noe wat i'm talking about.. =)
= 3rd day =
Tis is de day...a day tat we did not desire for...Before starting de
hiking journey..shuxian told us she's unable to hike wif us..she need to see doc n taken mc...sob sob...we change instructor..his name is Jon..He's another great instructor tat fools around wif us sometimes..haha.. We carried our 10 kg +
bag packs to hike.. It was reali a great challenge for me as i'm small in size.. It was far more heavier than i thought...haha...but however... i did it!!! Anyway..though tis hike..i'm reali amaze at smth...actually we reali cannot judge ppl by look..kianhao reali amazed all of us..didn't know tat he's sooooo capable..he leads de way through de jungles very well...3 cheers to him too! De guys in our
watch were quite gentlemen too...sometimes...haha..they helped de gals in our
watch to pitched de
tents when we were unable to pitch..helped us to carry heavy
tents n food when we can't carry it due to our physical strength..They r juz so great!! Dere is a quotation we recited lots of times during
hiking..tat is " No rivers too deep, no mountains too high,no ocean too wide, as long as we try"...Nice quotation?? It was found behind my resilience t-shirt...haha.. While
hiking...we visited some places in de island..First place we visited is a plantation...Dere was a friendly ah ma living dere...She treated us durian n jack fruit... =)
We visited de headman's
house n saw de "shan zhu" too... And finally...we reached de destination It was a beautiful
beach..again...We were still de first
watch to reach..After helping each other to
massage..we started pitching our
tents ... At nite..de sky was glimmering wif lots of
stars!! We sat on de sand in
watch after eating our dinner..We played some
games...De game was reali
fun!! Coz all de answers i know..hahaaha!! Zul wanted to cum out a game to test us..haha..he said smth tat made us laugh till tears dropped..So we name it de laughing game...haha.. Jon told us de " 3 green ping pong balls story " He stopped half way!! haiz...We did nt
bath at all on de 3rd day...
= 4th day =
Woke up early in de morning..The sunrise was very beautiful!!! Love tat moment.. All of us got ready n prepared to make our way back to camp 2...On our way back..we need pass a query n build a raft dere..Building till half way..jon told us he had to leave!!!! Urggg....2nd instructor left us...Haiz..After he left..Heavy rain started to fall...Jon!! U r our sun!! We were all drenced but no choice still haf to continue building de raft... Kian hao lead us n we build... Our raft was a strong n firm 1... De instructor praised us for our gd effort!! =) After finished checking de raft..de rain stopped n we were told to untie de raft... haiz vanessa said tat we will fall sick if we get into de water......nv get de chance to go into de query but atleast we took a photo in de heavy rain.....All of us started to give attitude to her.. As we were tracking our way back to de campsite...weekhiat n kianhao kept shouting to us not to step on de puddle of water on de ground as we will get sick...all of us were laughing n laughing at de same time giving her attitude...haha..
Finally..we reached de camp site!! We played some
games tat requies us nt to
talk... Weekhiat n jackson lead us till wanna faint..haha... At nite it's time for packing up! We washed our things n played wif water...De guys played wif water till so horrible!! Especially weekhiat..He splashed some water on me n i took a mashtin filled wif dirty water n throw back at him..haha.. His reaction was so funny n i ran away after tat..haha..He did nt haf de chance to splash water on me anymore..he cant catch me..haha!!
= Last day =
Time files so fast..It's already de last day...haiz..i reali like de moment when we sat in circle n made de web of love ...It was when we need to throw de string to some1 to give thanx.. each person can onli give thanx to 1 person...becky give thanx to me..m i gove thanx to huimin... Reali appreciated it alot alot.. reali... How gd it is if de time could stop right at de moment..Vanessa cut off de string n give us to keep as memory.. =) Urgg...missed every1 in Amundsen now....They reali
rock man!!! I love u ppl... =)
I've learnt smth through tis camp..Don't ever under estimate urself......And i treasured all de friendship and teamwork we shared during de 5 days camp... Made lots of new frenz through tis camp too... Love them all...muack muack..opps..
